Quick Hit: Rustic Canyon is currently my favorite burger place. This is based on the only burger of theirs I’ve tried so far – the Rustic Canyon Burger – an amazingly cooked masterpiece from burger to bun. Overall this receives my highest overall rating. I’m not supposed to include sides or drinks… but I will mention their sparkling drink menu is pretty tasty – all non-alcoholic options (I’m not a huge fan of alcohol drinks with my burger….. ya I know that’s strange ^_^ ). Quick Hit: You definitely get what you pay for. Rustic Canyon is the most expensive burger we have tried so far but it is also one of the very best. The burger was cooked perfectly, medium-rare, with a great char on the outside. You cannot order the burger without adding the egg because it pulls together all of the ingredients and makes it awesome. The price is steep but it if you love great burgers it is worth it. [more...]

Quick hit: Rustic Canyon has one hell of a burger! Perfectly cooked, amazing Niman Ranch beef, some of the best bacon I’ve ever had, an incredible egg that just oozes over everything…wow. This is the one, folks. If you like burgers, you’re going to LOVE the Rustic Canyon Burger. Now here comes the “but”…You’re going to love the Rustic Canyon Burger, BUT you won’t love the price. At $18 for the burger, and an additional $3 for the egg and another $4 on top of that for bacon (!!!), the total comes to $25. Throw in a shared appetizer and a drink, and you’re looking at a $40-$50 bill…for a burger. In short…Rustic Canyon is my highest rated burger…my favorite out of everything I’ve tried.
